Katalox Light and INDOCARB E124: The Certified Engineering

At the core of this system lies Katalox Light catalytic media, a composite filtration material that removes dissolved and oxidized iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, and arsenic without requiring permanganate regeneration. Unlike coated media that degrades under aggressive water conditions, Katalox Light maintains structural integrity and performance over extended service cycles. This media bed is housed in a NSF/ANSI certified 16" × 53" mineral tank with 2.5 cubic feet of filtration capacity, supporting flow rates up to 27 gallons per minute at 15 psi pressure drop.

The second stage utilizes INDOCARB E124 granular activated carbon, a high-performance media that reduces volatile organic compounds, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and disinfection byproducts while polishing taste and odor. The system operates through a Clack WS1 control valve, precision-engineered in the USA to automate backwash cycles based on water usage and time intervals. This valve ensures consistent regeneration without manual intervention, reducing maintenance demands while extending media life.

The entire assembly is built in Florida using ISO 9001 certified components that meet NSF/ANSI Standard 372 for lead-free compliance. This is not generic filtration.
