AQUALIVIA Shipping Policy
Last updated: August 3, 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made directly through AQUALIVIA LLC ("AQUALIVIA," "we," "us") or authorized distributors. We build, package, and ship your water treatment systems with care. Most products are made to order or assembled at our Florida facility, so every order includes a build and handling window before it leaves us. Read this policy together with our Return Policy, Limited Warranty, and Terms & Conditions. Handling time and carrier transit time are always calculated separately.
Order Processing and Handling Time
Handling time covers building, quality checks, packing, and handing the shipment to the carrier. It is separate from carrier transit time. Different products have different lead times.
- Standard (in-stock) orders: built, packed, and handed to the carrier within 3 to 7 business days after your order is confirmed.
- Custom or special-order systems: 7 to 15 business days, because these are assembled and quality-tested and can depend on the arrival of third-party components. If a component runs long, we will let you know.
- Pre-orders or backorders: you will be notified by email with the estimated ship date before payment is processed.
Our factory and fulfillment center operate Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time, and are closed on weekends and U.S. federal holidays. Orders received after 12:00 PM Eastern Time begin processing the following business day. Weekends and holidays are not counted as business days.
Commercial Systems: Production and Delivery Timeline
AQUALIVIA commercial systems are engineered around project-specific requirements. Many are custom-built, configured, and tested for each application, so their production timelines are longer than standard products.
- Standard commercial configurations: typically 2 to 4 weeks for production before shipment.
- Custom-engineered or large-scale systems: up to 90 days depending on specifications, component availability, and the production schedule.
After your order is placed, our team will contact you to confirm specifications and project details, and you will receive continuous updates on production progress, testing and quality-control stages, and estimated readiness for shipment.
Shipping Options and Delivery Times
We ship through trusted carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and freight partners for palletized equipment. The transit times below apply after your order has shipped. Handling and production time are separate.
| Shipping method | Estimated transit (U.S.) |
|---|---|
| Standard Ground | 4 to 7 business days |
| Expedited (2-Day) | 2 business days |
| Express or Overnight | 1 business day |
| Freight (Palletized) | 5 to 10 business days |
Transit times are estimates and can vary with your location, weather, or carrier conditions. They are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Free Shipping
- Free standard shipping applies to orders over $100 shipped within the 48 contiguous United States, using standard ground service.
- Orders of $100 or less, and any order using expedited, overnight, or freight service, are charged shipping calculated at checkout.
- Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and all destinations outside the 48 contiguous states are not eligible for free shipping. Rates for these locations are calculated at checkout.
Split Shipments
To get your equipment to you faster, bundles and multi-item orders may ship in more than one delivery. When some items are ready before others, we send the ready items right away instead of holding the whole order.
- Splitting an order into multiple shipments is at no extra charge to you. AQUALIVIA covers any added freight cost from splitting.
- Each shipment has its own tracking, and items may arrive on different days.
- Larger or custom items in the same order may follow on a separate freight delivery.
Freight and Large Equipment
Whole-house filters, commercial units, and other large systems ship on a pallet through a freight carrier to protect the equipment in transit. These shipments are large and heavy, so a little preparation on your end keeps delivery smooth. Before your delivery, please be ready to:
- Clear and prepare space ahead of time. A palletized system is much larger and heavier than a parcel.
- Have someone 18 or older present to inspect and sign for the shipment. Freight is not left unattended.
- Confirm your address can be reached by a full-size freight truck. Narrow or unpaved roads, steep driveways, gated communities, low clearances, and rural or limited-access locations can restrict or delay delivery. Please tell us about any access limitation at your address before you order.
- Expect a call from the carrier to schedule a delivery appointment.
Liftgate service: if your location does not have a loading dock, a liftgate can be added for an additional fee, arranged with us in advance. If a delivery cannot be completed because the site cannot receive a freight truck or no one is available to accept it, redelivery or storage fees charged by the carrier may apply.
Inspection and Damaged Shipments
Inspect every shipment at delivery. The damage and shortage windows below are the same across our Shipping Policy, Return Policy, and Limited Warranty.
- Visible damage: note it on the carrier's delivery receipt before you sign, photograph it, and report it to AQUALIVIA within five (5) days of delivery.
- Concealed damage, shortages, and missing components: report in writing within fifteen (15) days of delivery.
After fifteen (15) days, freight damage and shortage claims are closed and the shipment is deemed accepted as delivered. Send clear photos with your order details, and keep all original packaging and shipping materials until the claim is resolved. Reporting damage promptly helps us resolve your claim quickly.
Lost or Missing Packages
If tracking shows "Delivered" but you have not received your package, confirm the delivery address on your order, check with neighbors, building staff, or the carrier, and contact AQUALIVIA within seven (7) business days so we can help investigate. AQUALIVIA is not responsible for packages stolen after a carrier confirms delivery.
International Orders
AQUALIVIA does not offer international shipping through standard checkout at this time. If you are outside the United States, please contact us before placing an order so we can confirm what we are able to ship to your country and calculate shipping directly. Duties, taxes, and customs charges are the customer's responsibility. International orders are arranged on a case-by-case basis and are quoted separately from the prices shown online.
Refused or Undeliverable Shipments
If a shipment is refused or cannot be delivered, the customer is responsible for the original and return freight charges. Restocking and refund terms are handled under our Return Policy, which applies a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee to a delivery refused without cause.
Delays and Force Majeure
AQUALIVIA is not responsible for production or delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, carrier disruptions, customs, and supplier or component shortages. When a significant delay is known, we will communicate it to you as early as reasonably possible and keep you updated until it is resolved.
Order Changes and Cancellations
- Before shipping: standard orders may be modified or cancelled before they ship, subject to the cancellation terms in our Return Policy.
- After shipping: our Return Policy applies.
- Custom systems: cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
Title and Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery of the shipment to the carrier, unless applicable law provides otherwise. Claims for damage in transit are handled through the inspection process described above and are consistent with our Terms & Conditions.
Optional Professional Installation
AQUALIVIA offers optional on-site installation for commercial systems only. A customized installation quote is provided based on system type, scope, and location. AQUALIVIA does not install residential equipment; see our Terms & Conditions and Limited Warranty for installation responsibility. To request a commercial installation quote, email info@aqualivia.com.
Governing Law
This Shipping Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Shipping estimates are provided for general guidance and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Production time, handling time, and carrier transit time are calculated separately.
