Description
When Municipal Treatment Is Not the Final Step
City water arrives at your home after centralized chlorination, but disinfection does not end at the treatment plant. Chlorine persists throughout your plumbing, affecting everything you drink, cook with, and bathe in. Even at low concentrations, chlorine creates a persistent chemical taste that discourages hydration and alters the flavor of coffee, tea, and food. Beyond taste, chlorine exposure continues during showers, where warm water releases vapors that dry skin, irritate eyes, and fill bathrooms with lingering chemical odor. Over time, chlorine contributes to pipe corrosion and the formation of disinfection byproducts such as trihalomethanes and haloacetic acids. These compounds raise long-term health concerns that basic municipal treatment does not address. For households seeking better control over water quality, understanding chlorine taste and odor solutions is the first step toward cleaner, more usable water throughout the home.
The Certified Engineering Behind Clean Water
The AquaProTec™ 32K Catalytic Carbon Filter is designed to treat city water at the point of entry, before chemical disinfectants and organic contaminants reach your taps. Unlike standard carbon filters, this system uses advanced INDOCARB® E124 Catalytic Carbon, a high-performance filtration media that delivers far superior removal of chlorine, chloramines, volatile organic compounds, and odor-causing compounds compared to conventional granular activated carbon. Catalytic carbon enhances the oxidation process, allowing the media to break down and adsorb contaminants more efficiently while maintaining consistent flow and extended service life.
Engineered with a Clack WS1 control valve and housed in a durable 9" × 48" NSF-certified tank, the AquaProTec™ 32K delivers reliable whole-house filtration for homes and condos up to approximately 1,000 square feet. Every component is proudly Made in the USA, built to meet NSF/ANSI standards, and designed for quiet, maintenance-free operation. With a capacity of 32,000 grains and 1 cubic foot of catalytic media, this system handles daily water use while ensuring consistent performance across all fixtures and appliances.
Pure Water Living Throughout the Home
Once installed, the AquaProTec™ 32K transforms everyday water use throughout your home. Drinking water becomes neutral and refreshing, free from the chemical aftertaste that discourages hydration. Coffee and tea regain their natural aroma and flavor. Showers no longer irritate skin or leave behind lingering chemical odors. Laundry emerges cleaner and softer, and dishes dry without residue or spots. Your plumbing and appliances benefit from reduced corrosive exposure, extending their lifespan and maintaining efficient operation. This is water treatment that works quietly in the background, delivering consistent results without salt, backwashing cycles, or frequent filter replacements. With a 10-year service life, the AquaProTec™ 32K represents a long-term investment in water quality and home protection. Pure Water. Pure Trust.
Completing Your Water Strategy
While the AquaProTec™ 32K removes chemical disinfectants and organic contaminants from city water, it does not address dissolved solids, heavy metals, or microbiological risks. For households seeking the highest level of drinking water protection, consider pairing this system with a dedicated reverse osmosis system at the kitchen sink to ensure complete reduction of contaminants that matter most to your family's health and peace of mind.

You deal with one company: us. AQUALIVIA is your warrantor, so there is no manufacturer to chase and no one else to negotiate with. One claim, one contact.
What's covered
Coverage is parts-only, for the original purchaser, and runs from the delivery date.
Tanks and core components:
- Mineral tanks: 10 years (up to 13" x 54"), 5 years for larger tanks
- Control valves: 5 years
- Brine tanks: 5 years
- Accessories and components: 1 year
By product:
- AQUAREX Whole House Filter: 5 years

Every system: 30-day defect-on-arrival guarantee
"System only" means the unit is covered, but the filters, membranes, cartridges, and lamps inside it are consumables.
What's not covered
- Consumables and wear items: filters, resins, membranes, UV lamps, cartridges, and salt (except a defect on arrival)
- Damage caused by misuse, freezing, flooding, storms, power surges, or improper installation
- Damage caused by a non-AQUALIVIA part, or by operating the system outside normal water conditions or its rated specification
- Installation, labor, plumbing, and property costs
Using a non-AQUALIVIA replacement filter or part does not by itself void your warranty. What is not covered is damage that such a part actually causes.
Reverse osmosis, please note
Under-sink RO systems require professional installation, and we strongly recommend a leak sensor with automatic shutoff in the cabinet. Please read the RO Installation Requirements before installing.
