Water flows through the AQUAREX™ Sediment Filter first, capturing rust particles, pipe debris, and suspended solids before they reach sensitive valves and media beds. Sediment removal protects every system downstream and extends the service life of filtration and softening media.

Next, water enters the AquaProTec™ INDOCARB® E124 Catalytic Carbon Filter, which reduces chlorine, chloramines, volatile organic compounds, trihalomethanes, and disinfection byproducts. INDOCARB® E124 is a catalytic carbon media engineered specifically for municipal water applications where chloramines persist longer than standard chlorine. Unlike conventional activated carbon, catalytic carbon breaks down chloramines through surface catalysis, ensuring consistent reduction across high flow rates and extended contact time. This stage restores neutral taste, removes chemical odors, and protects downstream resin from oxidative damage. Water then flows into the EVOSOFT™ 64K Water Softener, which uses Aldex C-800 10% cross-linked resin to remove calcium and magnesium through ion exchange.
