Description

When Laboratory Standards Define Water Purity

Pharmaceutical compounding rooms, electronics assembly lines, and analytical laboratories share a common requirement: water purity measured in microsiemens. Conductivity readings replace opinion. At these precision levels, even trace ionic contamination compromises formulation accuracy, causes spotting on sensitive components, or introduces background interference in testing protocols. Mixed bed deionization removes both cations and anions simultaneously, producing ultra-low conductivity water without the operational complexity of separate treatment stages. The DI-FUSION™ Mix Bed Tank with 1.35 cubic feet of Purolite™ MB400 resin delivers complete ionic removal in a single-stage design. Dissolved calcium, magnesium, sodium, and heavy metals are captured alongside chloride, sulfate, nitrate, and silica as water passes through the balanced resin bed. When research, manufacturing, or precision rinsing depends on water that will not interfere, react, or leave residue, mixed bed technology provides the final barrier against ionic presence.

The Engineered Solution for Complete Demineralization

Purolite™ MB400 resin combines cation and anion exchange functions within the same media bed, allowing simultaneous removal of positive and negative ions without requiring separate treatment vessels. This design produces polished water with extremely low total dissolved solids and near-zero conductivity, supporting applications where even minor ionic presence affects outcomes. The 1.35 cubic foot capacity supports small to mid-volume operations that require laboratory-grade purity without the footprint of industrial systems. Because mixed bed resins reach exhaustion predictably, inline TDS monitoring provides clear service indicators without guesswork. The 9x42 mineral tank dimensions allow vertical installation in equipment rooms, utility closets, or dedicated process areas where space efficiency matters. When paired with proper sediment and carbon pre-filtration, this system extends resin service life and maintains consistent low-conductivity output batch after batch. For precision cleaning, specialty rinsing, or commercial deionized water applications, mixed bed technology delivers dependable ultra-purity without the operational complexity of regeneration cycles. Made in the USA and engineered to IFANCA Halal standards, this system integrates seamlessly into specialized operations requiring consistent, ultra-low conductivity water.

Pure Water Living Beyond the Laboratory

Deionized water transforms critical processes from uncertain to controlled. Spot-free rinsing eliminates mineral deposits on glassware, precision instruments, and sensitive electronic components. Pharmaceutical compounding achieves formulation accuracy without ionic interference. Analytical testing produces reliable, repeatable results free from background contamination. Manufacturing processes maintain product consistency and equipment longevity by removing the dissolved solids that cause buildup, corrosion, and premature failure. Beyond industrial settings, mixed bed DI systems support car detailing operations, aquarium filtration, and cosmetic production where purity directly impacts final quality. Because this system removes both hardness and dissolved contaminants simultaneously, it protects downstream equipment and processes from scale formation, chemical reactions, and performance degradation. At AQUALIVIA™, we understand that ultra-pure water is not a luxury for specialty operations - it is the foundation for precision, compliance, and confidence. Pure Water. Pure Trust.

Completing Your Water Strategy

While the DI-FUSION™ Mix Bed Tank delivers complete ionic removal, protecting resin life and maximizing system performance requires proper pre-treatment. Sediment, chlorine, and organic compounds must be addressed before water reaches ion exchange media. For comprehensive protection and extended resin service, explore complete commercial water treatment systems that integrate sediment filtration, carbon conditioning, and DI polishing into coordinated, high-performance solutions designed to support your most demanding applications.

Warranty

AQUALIVIA Warranty
At AQUALIVIA, we stand behind the quality of our water treatment systems. Every product is built to last, and we are proud to offer strong warranty coverage for peace of mind. You deal with one company: us. AQUALIVIA is your warrantor, so there is no manufacturer to chase and no one else to negotiate with. One claim, one contact.
What's covered
Coverage is parts-only, for the original purchaser, and runs from the delivery date.
Tanks and core components:

  • Mineral tanks: 10 years (up to 13" x 54"), 5 years for larger tanks
  • Control valves: 5 years
  • Brine tanks: 5 years
  • Accessories and components: 1 year

By product:

  • AQUAREX Whole House Filter: 5 years
  • OZONEX Ozone Systems: 1 year

  • AquaRevive Holding Tank: 3 years
  • AquaRevive Reverse Osmosis: 1 year (system only)

Every system: 30-day defect-on-arrival guarantee
"System only" means the unit is covered, but the filters, membranes, cartridges, and lamps inside it are consumables.
What's not covered

  • Consumables and wear items: filters, resins, membranes, UV lamps, cartridges, and salt (except a defect on arrival)
  • Damage caused by misuse, freezing, flooding, storms, power surges, or improper installation
  • Damage caused by a non-AQUALIVIA part, or by operating the system outside normal water conditions or its rated specification
  • Installation, labor, plumbing, and property costs

Using a non-AQUALIVIA replacement filter or part does not by itself void your warranty. What is not covered is damage that such a part actually causes.
Reverse osmosis, please note
Under-sink RO systems require professional installation, and we strongly recommend a leak sensor with automatic shutoff in the cabinet. Please read the RO Installation Requirements before installing.
