Description
When Commercial Water Demands Exceed Residential Capabilities
Commercial facilities face water challenges at an entirely different scale than residential properties. Hotels, restaurants, laundries, healthcare facilities, and multi-story buildings operate under continuous demand where even moderate hardness accelerates equipment wear and multiplies maintenance costs exponentially. Unlike residential settings where one water heater serves a family, commercial operations depend on boilers, steamers, dishwashers, cooling towers, and industrial equipment that all suffer simultaneous damage when hard water enters the system uncontrolled.
Scale does not simply appear on visible surfaces. Inside commercial water heaters and boilers, calcium and magnesium deposits act as insulation between heating elements and water, forcing equipment to consume more energy while delivering less output. This inefficiency translates directly into higher utility bills, shortened equipment lifespan, and operational disruptions that damage reputation and revenue. Replacing a commercial water heater or industrial dishwasher costs thousands of dollars and disrupts service during critical business hours. For operations requiring reliable performance under heavy demand, understanding how hard water damages plumbing and appliances reveals why point-of-entry softening must be addressed before scale spreads beyond control.
Engineered for Continuous Commercial Performance
The EVOSOFT™ Elite 180K is built around a Clack WS2 (2-inch) control valve, a professional-grade component engineered specifically for high-flow commercial applications. This is not a residential valve adapted for larger tanks. The WS2 handles continuous flow rates up to 40 gallons per minute while maintaining precise regeneration cycles that optimize salt and water efficiency without sacrificing performance. The system's smart metered regeneration monitors actual water usage rather than operating on a fixed schedule, reducing waste and ensuring the resin bed regenerates only when capacity is reached.
At the core of this system is Aldex C-800 10% crosslinked resin, a premium ion exchange media engineered for superior hardness removal and exceptional resistance to chlorine degradation. Standard resins break down under prolonged chlorine exposure, losing capacity and requiring premature replacement. The C-800's enhanced crosslink density maintains structural integrity and consistent performance even in chlorinated municipal supplies, translating to longer service intervals and dependable water quality under demanding commercial conditions. Every component reflects AQUALIVIA's commitment to American manufacturing standards and long-term reliability, from the durable 16" x 65" mineral tank to the precision-engineered brine system designed for 10 years of service life when properly maintained.
The system operates within 60 to 80 PSI supply pressure requirements, ensuring steady flow and reliable regeneration across large plumbing networks that serve multiple stories or high-demand zones simultaneously. For facilities requiring additional considerations for specialized commercial applications, businesses can explore complete commercial water treatment solutions to complement whole-facility water treatment strategies with advanced system integration and operational support.
Operational Efficiency You Can Measure
Soft water at commercial scale means more than better laundry or spot-free dishware. It delivers quantifiable energy savings, extended equipment life, reduced chemical usage, and consistent guest or customer experience that protects brand reputation. Water heaters operate more efficiently when scale is prevented from forming between heating elements and water. Dishwashers complete cycles faster with less detergent while producing cleaner results. Laundry systems deliver softer fabrics with longer textile life and reduced re-wash rates. Cooling towers and HVAC systems maintain heat transfer efficiency without mineral fouling that forces compressors to work harder and consume more power.
For multi-story properties or facilities with high supply pressure requirements, the Elite 180K is designed to perform reliably under 60 to 80 PSI operating conditions. This ensures steady flow and dependable regeneration across complex plumbing networks that serve multiple zones, floors, or high-demand equipment simultaneously. From boutique hotels to industrial laundries, from campus dining facilities to manufacturing plants, this system delivers the consistency and durability that professional operations require daily. Pure Water. Pure Trust.

You deal with one company: us. AQUALIVIA is your warrantor, so there is no manufacturer to chase and no one else to negotiate with. One claim, one contact.
What's covered
Coverage is parts-only, for the original purchaser, and runs from the delivery date.
Tanks and core components:
- Mineral tanks: 10 years (up to 13" x 54"), 5 years for larger tanks

Reverse osmosis, please note
Under-sink RO systems require professional installation, and we strongly recommend a leak sensor with automatic shutoff in the cabinet. Please read the RO Installation Requirements before installing.
