Description

When Outdoor Systems Need Protection from Invisible Damage

Water treatment tanks installed outdoors face a degradation threat more aggressive than mechanical wear: ultraviolet radiation. While your AquaProTec™ 48K system delivers reliable performance when positioned in garages or utility rooms, continuous solar exposure quietly weakens surface coatings, penetrates polymer walls, and initiates stress fractures invisible to routine inspection. These microscopic structural failures compound over time, eventually compromising pressure capacity and shortening operational life by years.

Because UV damage progresses beneath visible surfaces, tank integrity may decline long before external signs appear. Once polymer breakdown begins, temperature cycling and water pressure accelerate failure. Replacement becomes necessary not due to mechanical exhaustion, but preventable environmental deterioration. For homeowners managing well water treatment systems or other outdoor equipment, protecting each component ensures uninterrupted performance across the entire system.

That is why UV jackets are engineered as protective barriers designed specifically for mid-capacity outdoor systems. This gray cover intercepts damaging wavelengths before they reach tank materials, eliminating the primary cause of premature outdoor equipment failure. For installations exposed to intense sun or year-round outdoor operation, UV protection transforms from optional accessory into essential insurance for thousands of dollars of water treatment infrastructure.

Precision-Fitted Shielding for Mid-Capacity Treatment Tanks

This UV jacket is purpose-built for AquaProTec™ 48K tanks measuring 13 inches by 54 inches. Constructed from heavy-duty, UV-resistant material in professional gray, the jacket provides complete surface coverage without restricting airflow or service access. Unlike generic covers that shift position during weather events, precision attachment points distribute tension evenly and maintain stable positioning through wind, rain, and temperature changes.

The gray finish minimizes heat absorption during direct sun exposure while blending visually with professional outdoor installations. Installation requires no tools, produces no system downtime, and completes in minutes without modifying tank surfaces or valve assemblies. Once positioned, the jacket operates passively, requiring no maintenance or adjustment while delivering continuous protection against environmental stress.

Component failure at any stage disrupts water quality and introduces cascading repair costs that exceed the investment in preventive shielding. When treatment equipment includes UV water purification systems, protective jackets safeguard every layer of your investment. Protecting your system protects your water.

Pure Water, Protected Systems, and Lasting Performance

Outdoor water treatment maintains reliability when protection matches exposure conditions. UV jackets eliminate preventable degradation, preserve tank appearance across years of operation, and maintain structural integrity under sustained solar radiation. Systems remain operational without visible aging, and replacement cycles extend to match the true mechanical lifespan of treatment components rather than environmental failure timelines.

For homeowners relying on outdoor systems to address sediment, iron, bacterial contamination, or hardness, equipment longevity directly affects water quality consistency. AQUALIVIA™ delivers engineered protection designed to perform as reliably as the systems they shield. Pure Water. Pure Trust.

At AQUALIVIA, we stand behind the quality of our water treatment systems. Every product is built to last, and we are proud to offer strong warranty coverage for peace of mind. You deal with one company: us. AQUALIVIA is your warrantor, so there is no manufacturer to chase and no one else to negotiate with. One claim, one contact.
What's covered
Coverage is parts-only, for the original purchaser, and runs from the delivery date.
Tanks and core components:

  • Mineral tanks: 10 years (up to 13" x 54"), 5 years for larger tanks
  • Control valves: 5 years
  • Brine tanks: 5 years
  • Accessories and components: 1 year

By product:

  • AQUAREX Whole House Filter: 5 years
  • OZONEX Ozone Systems: 1 year
  • AquaVRay UV Systems: 1 year
  • HydroClear: 1 year (system only)
  • AquaRevive Holding Tank: 3 years
  • AquaRevive Reverse Osmosis: 1 year (system only)

Every system: 30-day defect-on-arrival guarantee
"System only" means the unit is covered, but the filters, membranes, cartridges, and lamps inside it are consumables.
What's not covered

  • Consumables and wear items: filters, resins, membranes, UV lamps, cartridges, and salt (except a defect on arrival)
  • Damage caused by misuse, freezing, flooding, storms, power surges, or improper installation
  • Damage caused by a non-AQUALIVIA part, or by operating the system outside normal water conditions or its rated specification
  • Installation, labor, plumbing, and property costs

Using a non-AQUALIVIA replacement filter or part does not by itself void your warranty. What is not covered is damage that such a part actually causes.
Reverse osmosis, please note
Under-sink RO systems require professional installation, and we strongly recommend a leak sensor with automatic shutoff in the cabinet. Please read the RO Installation Requirements before installing.
Our promise
If your system has a covered defect, we will repair it, replace it, or provide a comparable solution. Our goal is simple: to make sure your AQUALIVIA system works the way it should, so you can enjoy clean, pure water with confidence. This repair or replacement is your exclusive remedy under the warranty.
