Description
The Invisible Problem
Iron contamination in well water begins invisibly. Water flows clear from the tap, carrying dissolved ferrous iron that oxidizes only after contact with air. By then, the damage is underway. Fixtures accumulate rust-colored stains that resist scrubbing. Laundry emerges discolored. Water heaters collect sediment that reduces efficiency and shortens operational life. What appears as a minor nuisance gradually embeds itself into every surface iron-rich water contacts.
When iron levels exceed 2 ppm, standard softeners and filters fail. The mineral load overwhelms resin beds, clogs media, and fouls equipment designed for lighter contamination. For light commercial operations, restaurants, small facilities, and larger homes drawing from iron-rich aquifers, the cost extends beyond aesthetics. Equipment wears faster. Maintenance intervals shorten. Plumbing narrows. Addressing iron contamination becomes a matter of operational reliability, not preference. For broader context on how targeted filtration manages contamination before oxidation occurs, explore iron removal systems designed to capture dissolved minerals at the source.
The Certified Solution
The WellFusion™ Elite 120K employs Katalox Light, a manganese dioxide-coated zeolite media engineered to oxidize and filter dissolved iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide. This catalytic filtration technology accelerates oxidation, converting invisible ferrous iron into filterable ferric particles before they reach fixtures or appliances. With a 120,000-grain capacity and 4 cubic feet of media housed in a 16" × 53" mineral tank, this system supports light commercial environments, facilities up to 5,200 square feet, and high-demand residential applications.
Manufactured in the USA with NSF/ANSI 44 certified components, the system integrates a Clack WS1 high-flow control valve calibrated for precision backwash cycles at 25 gpm service flow. Every tank, valve, and fitting is inspected at our Florida facility before shipment. The catalytic media operates without chemical injection, permanganate dosing, or air injection systems. Backwash cycles regenerate the media bed automatically, flushing captured iron and maintaining treatment capacity without manual intervention or ongoing chemical costs.
The 1.5" NPT valve system maintains consistent pressure distribution during service and ensures complete media fluidization during regeneration. Chemical-free operation eliminates oxidizer storage, dosing equipment, and associated regulatory complexity. The system is designed for ten to fifteen years of service life when operated within recommended parameters. For well water applications where sulfur odor appears alongside iron contamination, consider how sulfur removal systems provide coordinated treatment when staining and odor occur together.
Pure Water Living
After installation, water clarity improves within the first treatment cycle. Fixtures that required weekly maintenance stay cleaner for extended periods. Laundry emerges without orange or brown discoloration. Drinking water loses its metallic edge. Water heaters operate more efficiently without iron sediment accumulating at tank bottoms. The difference is measurable across every commercial and residential use. Equipment operates as engineered. Confidence in facility water quality returns. This is whole-house, high-capacity protection designed for real-world well water conditions where iron contamination exceeds residential system capabilities. Commercial kitchens discover cleaner dishware. Facilities report fewer service calls. Households benefit from showers that feel cleaner, coffee that tastes better, and appliances that last longer when iron no longer infiltrates daily water use. Fixtures maintain their original finish, whites stay white, and maintenance intervals extend naturally. Pure Water. Pure Trust.

You deal with one company: us. AQUALIVIA is your warrantor, so there is no manufacturer to chase and no one else to negotiate with. One claim, one contact.
What's covered
Coverage is parts-only, for the original purchaser, and runs from the delivery date.
Tanks and core components:
- Mineral tanks: 10 years (up to 13" x 54"), 5 years for larger tanks
- Control valves: 5 years
- Brine tanks: 5 years
- Accessories and components: 1 year
By product:
- AQUAREX Whole House Filter: 5 years
- OZONEX Ozone Systems: 1 year

- HydroClear: 1 year (system only)
- AquaRevive Holding Tank: 3 years
- AquaRevive Reverse Osmosis: 1 year (system only)
Every system: 30-day defect-on-arrival guarantee
"System only" means the unit is covered, but the filters, membranes, cartridges, and lamps inside it are consumables.
What's not covered
- Consumables and wear items: filters, resins, membranes, UV lamps, cartridges, and salt (except a defect on arrival)
- Damage caused by misuse, freezing, flooding, storms, power surges, or improper installation
- Damage caused by a non-AQUALIVIA part, or by operating the system outside normal water conditions or its rated specification
- Installation, labor, plumbing, and property costs
Using a non-AQUALIVIA replacement filter or part does not by itself void your warranty. What is not covered is damage that such a part actually causes.
Reverse osmosis, please note
Under-sink RO systems require professional installation, and we strongly recommend a leak sensor with automatic shutoff in the cabinet. Please read the RO Installation Requirements before installing.
