Description
When Commercial Water Treatment Requires More Than Standard Oxidation
Larger homes, commercial buildings, farms, and industrial facilities often encounter water conditions that exceed the capabilities of conventional oxidation systems. Elevated concentrations of dissolved iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, and naturally occurring bacteria can overwhelm filtration equipment, reduce water quality, and increase maintenance requirements throughout the treatment system. Without proper oxidation, these contaminants remain dissolved, making them difficult to remove efficiently.
Ozone provides one of the most effective oxidation methods available for well water treatment. By rapidly converting dissolved contaminants into filterable particles before filtration, ozone improves overall system performance while helping control nuisance bacteria responsible for odors, slime buildup, and biological fouling. Because ozone naturally reverts back to oxygen after treatment, the process delivers powerful oxidation without introducing chemical residuals into the water supply.
Where Does High-Capacity Ozone Oxidation Make the Greatest Difference?
- High iron concentrations that cause staining and metallic taste
- Hydrogen sulfide responsible for persistent rotten egg odors
- Manganese that produces black staining and discoloration
- Iron bacteria and sulfur-reducing bacteria that create slime and biofilm
- Commercial systems requiring consistent oxidation before filtration
That's why the OZONEX™ 403 is engineered to deliver continuous, high-output ozone generation for demanding holding tank applications where reliable oxidation is critical to long-term water treatment performance.
Engineering Designed for High-Capacity Oxidation
The OZONEX™ 403 utilizes corona discharge technology to generate ozone from ambient air, eliminating the need to store or handle chemical oxidizers. Ozone is introduced into an atmospheric holding tank where it rapidly reacts with dissolved iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, and organic compounds. These oxidation reactions convert dissolved contaminants into insoluble particles that can be efficiently removed by properly designed filtration systems.
The oxidation process also helps control iron bacteria and sulfur-reducing bacteria that contribute to biological fouling, unpleasant odors, and excessive maintenance within plumbing and treatment equipment. Continuous-duty operation supports applications with higher flow rates and greater water demand while maintaining dependable oxidation performance.
Its compact design integrates easily into commercial water treatment systems and provides reliable operation with minimal routine maintenance. By improving contaminant removal before filtration, the OZONEX™ 403 helps extend filter media life, reduce maintenance frequency, and improve overall treatment efficiency.
Pure Water Living
Reliable oxidation is the foundation of effective well water treatment. When contaminants are properly oxidized before filtration, water becomes clearer, odors are reduced, staining is minimized, and downstream equipment operates more efficiently. Property owners benefit from improved water quality while reducing maintenance demands across the entire treatment system.
Whether serving a large residence, agricultural property, commercial facility, or light industrial application, the OZONEX™ 403 provides dependable oxidation that supports cleaner water and more consistent system performance. The chemical-free process also reduces reliance on chlorine-based treatment while delivering long-term operational reliability.
That's what happens when advanced oxidation becomes the first stage of complete water treatment. Pure Water. Pure Trust.
Completing Your Water Strategy
The OZONEX™ 403 is designed to operate as the oxidation stage of a complete water treatment system. Following ozone treatment, properly selected filtration equipment removes the oxidized contaminants to deliver cleaner water throughout the property. Combining ozone oxidation with iron filtration, activated carbon filtration, or complete well water treatment systems creates a comprehensive solution for challenging commercial and high-demand water conditions.

Warranty
AQUALIVIA Warranty
At AQUALIVIA, we stand behind the quality of our water treatment systems. Every product is built to last, and we are proud to offer strong warranty coverage for peace of mind. You deal with one company: us. AQUALIVIA is your warrantor, so there is no manufacturer to chase and no one else to negotiate with. One claim, one contact.
What's covered
Coverage is parts-only, for the original purchaser, and runs from the delivery date.
Tanks and core components:
- Mineral tanks: 10 years (up to 13" x 54"), 5 years for larger tanks
- Control valves: 5 years
- Brine tanks: 5 years
- Accessories and components: 1 year
By product:

- HydroClear: 1 year (system only)
- AquaRevive Holding Tank: 3 years
- AquaRevive Reverse Osmosis: 1 year (system only)
Every system: 30-day defect-on-arrival guarantee
"System only" means the unit is covered, but the filters, membranes, cartridges, and lamps inside it are consumables.
What's not covered
- Consumables and wear items: filters, resins, membranes, UV lamps, cartridges, and salt (except a defect on arrival)
- Damage caused by misuse, freezing, flooding, storms, power surges, or improper installation
- Damage caused by a non-AQUALIVIA part, or by operating the system outside normal water conditions or its rated specification
- Installation, labor, plumbing, and property costs
Using a non-AQUALIVIA replacement filter or part does not by itself void your warranty. What is not covered is damage that such a part actually causes.
Reverse osmosis, please note
Under-sink RO systems require professional installation, and we strongly recommend a leak sensor with automatic shutoff in the cabinet. Please read the RO Installation Requirements before installing.
